They say that 10,000 hours of practice makes you an expert. I have spent 16 years perfecting my skills while photographing weddings, families, corporate events, products, and everything in between. I know my cameras inside and out. I know my lighting equipment inside and out. Even if I haven’t photographed a wedding at your venue, I have probably photographed ten at a similar venue and know exactly what to do, even if it’s pouring rain, or everything is taking place after sunset and the only light in the room will be two candles at the altar. I will put my entire heart and soul into your day and capture your memories the way that you want them to be captured.

The Process

First, you fill out the inquiry form, and I’ll get back to you within hours with a few questions about your plans. We hop on a call or Zoom and chat for a few minutes so I can find out exactly what you’re looking for and what I can do for you, and then I send you a custom quote based on your needs.

When you decide to book, $1000 holds your date. The rest of the payments are split up monthly or bi-monthly, with the remainder due two weeks before your day.

Once you book, we talk about scheduling your engagement session (or an in-person hang if you don’t wanna do an engagement session!). The engagement session is a way for us to get to know each other. We can start at your apartment, at your favorite bar, at your favorite park, or really anywhere in the city that has some meaning to you. We chat about the wedding plans, and get some really cool photos of the two of you. You’ll get to see how I work, and I get to see how you are in front of the camera. Spoiler alert: it will probably be awkward. I know this, you know this, and we will make the best of it so by the end of the session it’s not so awkward, and you feel great about having me with you all day on your wedding day.

The Wedding Day

First of all, it’s important that you know that you can do anything you want. If you don’t want certain “typical” photos, or if you want something completely non- typical, that’s all totally cool. Nothing about your wedding has to be like anything else about anyone else’s wedding. I will be glad to advise you and tell you what has worked or hasn’t worked in the past, but will never pressure my couples one way or another.

I usually arrive a few hours before the ceremony and capture the getting ready moments, details, the vibe, the electricity, the anticipation. I love all of this stuff.

I usually recommend doing all of your portraits before the ceremony, but it’s completely up to you. We can talk more about the pros and cons when we have our consultation!

The way I work is very candid and natural, I won’t ask you to fake or re-create moments.

I’m very hands-on during the portrait session part of the day - I make sure everyone’s tie is straight, boutonnières are on point, bouquets are in the right spot, hands are not awkward, sunglasses are off, phones are not bulging in pockets. I work off of a list provided by you, of group shots you want, and I make sure I get them all. And I get them all in a quick and fun way so you can go and enjoy the rest of your day.

And - the rest of the day, I’m hands off. You enjoy your wedding and you might see me blur by, like a phantom, here and there. You may see me laughing at your best friends’ toasts, tearing up while you dance with your parents, and TEARING UP the dance floor when that beat drops. Seeing a person dressed in formal wear swaying while holding two cameras is really quite the sight.

More importantly, I quickly learn who all of your VIP’s are. And I capture them having the best time. It’s my favorite.

I love all of this. This is where I thrive. This is the energy that I missed so much for all of 2020, and now that it’s back, I feel like myself again, and I’m so so thrilled to be back doing what I love!

After the Wedding

You get sneak peeks within 24 hours.
The rest of your photos will be delivered within 30 days, usually sooner. You can expect about 100 finished images per hour of coverage.
You’ll get a private online gallery of high resolution images which you can feel free to share with anyone.

Albums

I love albums. There’s just nothing like holding something tangible in your hands. Your love story, your very own book. It’s amazing. I would love for every single one of my couples to have an album on their coffee table.
To make this easy for you, I design your album at the same time as I’m editing your photos. Your design is ready to approve (or make changes!), and your album can be yours just weeks after your wedding.

The Brass Tacks

Cookie cutter packages just don’t cut it! I absolutely love working with couples who like to put a little bit of themselves into their wedding day and as a result every wedding, big or small, is truly unique. Because of this, I will put together custom photography coverage options that will make your wedding day photography exactly yours.

Couples can expect to invest between $7-10k for full-day weddings, and intimate celebrations begin at $2500
